One Year on Substack
what is there to celebrate?
one year on substack what should I celebrate no glamorous numbers to proudly announce nothing to brag about no X numbers of subscribers or followers added no Y numbers of notes or posts written and yet I met numerous writers with the same inspiring souls and spirit to talk to to laugh with to cry together to support one another share writing whether perfect or not exchange thoughts whether mature or not express feelings whether intense or tender writing is healing an essential part of life to recover, revitalize, re-energize, and even reinvent not to fit not to conform writing is resisting and renewal a quiet space for dialogue among free spirits not to please not to diminish but simply to be heard

In a space that often rewards noise, your writing chooses clarity and sincerity. That choice is not small—it is a discipline.
A year of showing up like this is not just consistency, it is character. Thank you for reminding us that authenticity does not need decoration.
I would be honored to subscribe and continue reading your journey.

Right on - it is the connections with people I already count as friends that are the not entirely unexpected value of Substack! Keep going! 🌹🙏🏻
